| This topic is for any sketches/models of anything to go in the prince's room. If you have any ideas or already have anything modeled out, please post a screencap or something here so we can all look at it, and everyone please give feedback! I didn't know exactly what was supposed to go in the room, so I modeled this little table from the original sketch concept of his room that I did: I know there's a little artifacting going on in some of the inner corners, but once again, I'm not too sure how to fix that. If anyone can help, that would be great. | |

| I modeled a chair to go in the prince's room, with the vanity that I modeled from the other day. It's still got a few issues going on, but I don't have any more time to work on fixing them right now. Seriously, I really need to get some feedback. Someone critique this. | |

| I can try to fix the artifacts, if you want.
I think they look really nice. The only thing I might suggest is adding a thin lip on the top of the table. (Hopefully, that makes sense, but, if not, it's fine the way it is.)

| Oh my goodness, that would be awesome if you could help fix the artifacts ;__; And yeah, I think a lip on the top of the table would be good, I'll try to add that.
Do you want me to email you the maya files or something?

| Don't worry about the little bit of artifacting on these. Since we're really only messing with npr rendering it won't matter as near as much. As long as you can get the form of the models the way you want then that is fine. Remember that the outlines we're going to put on these will follow the smooth form of the models. | |

Ok cool. I didn't know how big of a deal the artifacts would be.

Do you want me to email you the maya files or something? Can you guys please upload your files to the "working" folder on the Google Docs? I want to keep a repository of files so we can always have copies to revert to. Also, save in iterations. Example: fileSave1.mb fileSave2.mb fileSave3.mb etc.

| So I made a bookshelf, and I thought it would look cool with a...fancy thing? on top: But then I kinda hated it, so I took that off: But now I think the bottom one's kinda boring, but better than the first one. Dunno, what do you guys think? | |

| I just don't even know what to do with this anymore. Also these outlines are refusing to work with me in some places | |

| Don't know how difficult it would be, but what about a pink teddy bear?

| I made a round pillow based on the sketches but I haven't added any tassels: This is a simple closed book that could be used to populate the book shelf: | |

| Here are the walls so far... Looks very prison-like as of now... | |

| Haha, it does look a bit prison-like. Maybe try using just a few rocks sporadically on some parts of the walls? | |

| I'm not a fan of the stones. How about adding some molding about waist high and just put shaders on the walls? Also, we should definitely check the scale of everything. | |

molding? I'm not a fan of the rocks either, but it was worth a shot.

ever heard of crown molding? some molding is about waist high. check my first render tests i uploaded. look at the walls in that. real simple, but looks decent. my opinion, anyway.
